Senior Forensic Associate

The opportunity
We are looking for Senior Forensic Associates who are highly motivated, eager to learn and energetic and are looking to grow their career in a fulfilling and rewarding professional environment and can work across sectors and take up short-term assignments in different countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct forensic audits to identify potential fraud and misconduct, and to provide recommendations to clients.
- Analyze data to identify anomalies and suspicious transactions
- Effectively interpret financial statements and accounting records.
- Assess business processes.
- Present complex findings in a clear and understandable way
- Collaborate effectively and provide expert advice to cross-functional teams.
- Provide support to client’s internal audit functions by conducting targeted audits to investigate potential fraud or misconduct.
- Assessment of compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, and identifying any areas of noncompliance.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Manage client and other stakeholder relationships professionally.
- Maintain technical expertise in Fraud Risk Management, Corporate Intelligence, Forensic Audits & Investigations

Minimum Requirements
- University: A minimum of second-class upper honors Bachelor’s degree in any of the following
fields:
- Accounting, finance or any other business-related field
- Information Technology, cybersecurity, computer forensic or any other related field
- Criminology or any other security-related field
- Law, compliance or any other related field

Professional certifications in any of the following fields:
- Business such as Certified Public Accountant (in respective country)
- IT such as Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Forensic and Fraud Investigations such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
- Any other relevant certifications in the fields of fraud risk management, Corporate Intelligence, Forensic Audits & Investigations, Integrity & ABAC Compliance Programs, Fraud Monitoring & Assurance and Cybersecurity & Forensic Technology.
- 4-5 years of working experience in forensic audits and investigations.
- Schooling: minimum overall grade of a B in KCSE
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English or French (any other language is a plus)
- Proficiency in using a computer and essential software such as Microsoft Office Software, i.e. MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Applicants must be able to travel and should have or apply for a passport.
